Fits as expected. I even have a big noggin and can sometimes have trouble finding hats that fit. I blow that outdated saying absolutely, one size matches all AWAY! Yet these hats still fit. And the price is right! With a great deal of colors, too. I purchased TWO! Well put together overall, however the material feels on the thinner side so based on your use slightly, it may show deterioration faster.
I bought this to use mainly because a liner for my bike helmet. I don’t possess much locks left up top (as opposed to all the bush on my chin) and the Florida sunlight comes through the helmet’s vents more than enough to cause some sunburn, therefore i wanted some added protection. I love having cotton — it’s going to obtain sweaty, but cotton washes well. And I sewed a cheap cotton handkerchief to the back of it — a la French Foreign Legion caps — to increase the safety to my neck.
I have a sizable head. By my rough estimate, I have somewhere between a 7 3/4 and 8 hat size (by rough estimate, I mean wrapping a USB cable around my head, so, you know, I could end up being off). I also don’t like tight hats (they provide me headaches). Most hats to get don’t fit. I’ve purchased many hats from Amazon, just to be disappointed.
That is a well-made, comfortable and stylish (just as much as a baseball cap can be) hat. I am a decorated fight veteran, but I don’t like putting on the garishly ribboned yellow and black military device caps. This is more my style – a subtle but unmistakeable statement of commitment to the national country I served. It’s my new go-to hat.
I very own two of the hats in different colors and can probably buy even more. The cap is normally easily adjustable in the trunk with a strap that’s concealed by a flap in the cap. The visor appears to be produced of some form of stiff plastic. I clean the cap by hand and then toss it into the dryer on the cheapest heat setting for approximately 10 minutes. I allow cap end drying by air. Is effective.
One thing I really like about the material is definitely that it is sort of like the tech material that’s all of the craze now–polyester? Not cotton or whatever hats are made out of usually. Anyway, this implies that washing and drying this hat is certainly super simple. Weekly or so I simply sort of have a shower with it on and put some soap onto it and it smells great again. It generally does not lose it’s shape and the bill appears to be supporting well. I have washed it many times during the period of the 90 days I’ve had it.
